GREAT DIAMOND DASH BRIDAL SHOW-New Mexico Marriages First!

GREAT DIAMOND DASH BRIDAL SHOW
with
New Mexico Marriages First!

The New Mexico Marriages First Project serves couples across all age groups and ethnicity's in Bernalillo and Sandoval Counties. The Project goal is to provide culturally appropriate marriage education, marriage enrichment projects, and programs that explore positive relationship models to married couples, engaged couples, couples interested in marriage and teenagers, thus strengthening marriage and reducing the incidence of divorce. Through partnerships with community agencies, New Mexico Marriages First will help interested couples gain greater access to marriage education services enabling them to acquire skills to form and sustain healthy marriages. www.themarriagelifeline.com

Justin & I had our pre-marital counseling and also mentoring after we were married, through NM Marriages First. We learned a lot of valuable information that helped us and still does today in understanding each other and what to do in rough times. I am so very thankful that this program exists and I wanted to get out there and let the brides and grooms to be know what an awesome opportunity it is to get,"marriage insurance". Statistics show that couples who get premarital education experience half of the divorce rate compared to couples who do not get premarital education. NM Marriages First offers free services too! So get involved and find out ways to better your relationship no matter what stage you are in!

I love getting out in the community and bringing light to those around me!

Urban Trash Benefit Hair and Runway Show 2009

I participated in the
Urban Trash Benefit Hair and Runway Show!

"The show is called Urban Trash because all products and outfits are made from recycled or recyclable materials. The show is in its third year and all proceeds go to benefit the People Living Through Cancer organization.

People Living Through Cancer is an awesome non-profit organization that provides resources for cancer patients, survivors and families. The Urban Trash show helps them provide services like free cancer support groups and Cancer Survival Kits. If you can’t make the Urban Trash show, you can support the organization by simply donating online." http://www.abqonthecheap.com/charityevents/urban-trash-benefit-hair-and-runway-show/

Special thanks to Stephanie Otero for the great job she did on my CD dress!  She rocked on my hair style too!

Here are some of the other outfits!  How cool!
We are getting ready to hit the runway!

It was a lot of fun and all for a great organization!
